After the asylum and residence permit procedure, you will be allocated to a municipality. Your own requests where to settle down will be considered.

Asylum applications
The Swedish Migration Board is handling and trying the asylum cases in Sweden. The Board will provide accommodation for the refugee while waiting for decision.
Refugees who come to our municipality, by their own choice or allocated by the Migration Board, will be supported by the refugee reception.
The Refugee Reception
The refugee reception will supply the personal guidance you may need. The co-ordinator will assist in preparing an introduction plan.
Introduction
The plan is meant to introduce those recently arrived in our municipality, and includes adults, children and families who are granted residence permits in Sweden and are living in Sunne.
Interpreter
Before you master the Swedish language, interpretation assistance may be needed in contacts with authorities or healthcare.
It is up to the authority or healthcare staff to order an interpreter when needed. Letters can however be sent to authorities in Sweden in your own language.
The Social Insurance, the National Tax Board and the Consumer Agency are some authorities which can supply information leaflets in several languages.
