The Tossebergsklätten mountain
Known as Gurlita Klätt in the Gösta Berling’s Saga, the Tossebergsklätten, with a wonderful view over the Fryksdalen valley, was the territory of the bear that only a silver bullit could kill. At the top of Tossebergsklätten there’s an outlook tower, a handicraft shop, café and restaurant with an art exhibition. Open May-September. Telephone: +46 565 921 25.

Stamfrändemonumentet – the Kinsmen Monument

The monument is a symbol for the Finnish immigration to Värmland and for the Swedish emigration to America. The inscription in the base says: In Commemoration of the connection with our kinsmen to the west and to the east of the waters”. The Kinsmen Monument is situated just 3 km south of Sunne, by the golfcourt.
